Digitizing networking architecture
As part of the project Kond: The Natural History of Networking Architecture, the Cultural and Social Narratives Laboratory has developed a bilingual digital platform that brings together analytical texts, alternative mappings, research materials, and illustrations to reveal the layered identities of Yerevan’s Kond neighborhood. The platform serves as an accessible and sustainable tool to guide visitors, researchers, and communities through the multiple dimensions of Kond and its natural history of networking architecture. Through its chapters, the platform introduces ways of reading the neighborhood’s spatial, ecological, and social layers across its past and present, exploring how alternative futures for the neighborhood might be imagined.
