Local residents, researchers, and designers come together to uncover hidden knowledge within the urban landscape
How can we understand a city beyond its buildings and infrastructure? In Yerevan, participants of Ecological Futures gathered for a series of workshops exploring the relationship between architecture, memory, and everyday life.
Through walks, conversations, and collective mapping exercises, residents shared stories and observations about their neighborhood. Together, they explored how local practices, overlooked spaces, and informal networks contribute to the identity and resilience of the city.
The workshop is part of an ongoing process to develop new approaches to urban transformation—ones that begin with listening, observing, and learning from the places themselves.
